Today we're going to be talking about how you can make best use of your kitchen space so it doesn't feel small and cramped.
Appliances
Try out some small appliances, vintage are usually smaller and every bit as stylish, if your family is smaller now, then why not downsize on the appliances and give yourself some more space.
Variations on sinks
Do you really need a double sink, or could you perhaps downsize to a smaller one, you could give yourself so much more room by simply having a smaller sink, a single mount, so you can utilise the extra space.
The Pantry
You can either utilise the one you currently have and put up hooks where you can hang up any spare pans, as wall mounted storage is a great idea, or you can just create a kitchen island where you'll be able to hang up your pots and pans above it and perhaps use it for garbage. Pull out pantries are also a great idea and help save on space and remove clutter.
Corner Cabinets
These are great for storage, keeping unnecessary items hidden from view. You can shop around and find one that pulls out as well, as these are great for providing storage space, but prevents trips and falls.
You could always take the wall away so your kitchen is open plan. This will provide more light as well as space, making it seem much bigger than it was before. It will also provide a focal point for entertaining guests and a great way of sharing your kitchen area.
